Oil Pastel Still Life: Citrus & Color Theory In this vibrant introductory course, students will explore the foundations of color theory and still life drawing through the study of citrus fruit compositions. Artists will learn how to create and crop their own still-life arrangements while developing an understanding of balance, composition, and observational skills. Using a variety of oil pastel techniques, students will render fruit, backgrounds, and surfaces with rich color, blending, layering, and texture. By the end of the course, students will leave with a beautifully finished still life artwork and a strong understanding of color relationships and oil pastel application techniques.
